Planning resource
Give your growth plan a useful monthly review
Use evidence to decide what to continue, change or stop.
Prepare evidence before the meeting
Bring the current priorities, progress measures, customer feedback and unresolved decisions. Keep activity counts separate from business outcomes. A completed campaign is an activity; suitable enquiries are evidence of a possible outcome.
Review the gap
For each priority, compare what you expected with what happened. Label missing evidence honestly. Discuss what changed in the business or market before judging performance.
Make a decision
Choose to continue, change, test, pause or stop. Explain the trade-off. Give each next action one accountable owner and a review date. If you do not have an answer yet, agree how you will find out and who will do it.
Fictional example: a small manufacturer
A manufacturer has sent proposals for a new product but has few responses. Its review separates delivery of proposals from customer demand. The team interviews three prospects about fit and timing before increasing promotion. The next review examines those findings rather than treating the number of proposals as success.
Keep a decision log
Record the evidence, decision and rationale. At the next review, check whether the action happened and what it taught you. This helps you learn instead of repeating the same discussion.
